La Fiscal\u00eda del condado de Hennepin, en Minnesota, present\u00f3 cargos penales contra Christian Castro, agente del Servicio de Inmigraci\u00f3n y Control de Aduanas (ICE), por un tiroteo ocurrido el pasado 14 de enero durante un operativo migratorio en Minneapolis.
El oficial enfrenta cuatro cargos de agresi\u00f3n en segundo grado y uno por presuntamente presentar un reporte falso, luego de herir de bala en una pierna al ciudadano venezolano Julio C\u00e9sar Sosa-Celis. La fiscal Mary Moriarty asegur\u00f3 que las investigaciones determinaron que la v\u00edctima no representaba una amenaza al momento del incidente y que contaba con estatus legal en Estados Unidos.
Inicialmente, autoridades federales acusaron a Sosa-Celis y a otras personas de haber atacado a agentes con herramientas dom\u00e9sticas; sin embargo, un juez federal desestim\u00f3 posteriormente esos cargos tras surgir evidencias que contradijeron la versi\u00f3n oficial.
